Ombudsman’s office and client complaints (Art. 16 FinIA)

Financial intermediaries are now obliged to join an ombudsman’s office for the settlement of legal disputes in a mediation procedure. This procedure is in principle free of charge for clients and is intended to bring the parties to an amicable solution without initiating official legal proceedings and taking the matter to costly courts. This conciliation body must be unbureaucratic, fair, quick and impartial.

FINMA licence as independent asset manager (Art. 5 para. 1 FinIA)

CORUM is in the process of obtaining a licence as an independent asset manager pursuant to Art. 5 para. 1 FinSA in conjunction with Art. 74 para. 2 FinSA.

We submitted the relevant applications to FINMA on time and received confirmation of receipt in return.

FINMA is currently reviewing our application for authorisation. During this review phase, CORUM may continue its business activities.
